NEWARE TECHNOLOGY LLC is looking for a skilled Electrical Technician specializing in low voltage battery testing to join our growing team in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities:
  • Perform low voltage battery testing, diagnostics, and validation using industry-standard equipment
  • Set up, operate, and maintain battery cyclers and test stations for electrochemical performance evaluation
  • Monitor and record test data, analyze results, and generate detailed technical reports
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
  • Calibrate and maintain test instruments and low voltage electrical systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support battery R&D and quality assurance processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical standards in a lab environment
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, battery testing, or electrochemical test equipment
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and cell-level testing procedures
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and test automation software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to document technical findings accurately
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
